Jonas Brothers Bio
Incredibly, two years later, an executive at Columbia Records heard Nick’s song and jointly signed him to INO Records as well as Columbia Records. His first single was “Dear God.” His brothers, Kevin and Joe, had the chance to collaborate on a few songs on his debut album. Not too long after, Columbia Records’ president, Steve Greenberg, listened to Nick’s album. Though he did not like it, he was impressed by Nick’s singing talent and eventually signed the brothers as a group. The group’s opening acts included top-artists such as Kelly Clarkson, the Backstreet Boys, Aly & AJ, Jesse McCartney, The Cheetah Girls and the Veronicas. Their first album as a group, entitled It’s About Time, contained hit songs “Year 3000” and “Mandy.” It finally hit stores on August 8, 2006. After many disagreements, the Jonas Brothers were dropped by Columbia Records in early 2007. They picked up right where they left off by signing to Hollywood Records only a month later. From here, they focused their attention on several Disney Channel projects and started to record their second in-studio album, Jonas Brothers. Nearly a year since their first debut album’s release, their second one hit stores, as well as the charts. Within it’s first week out, the record reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 200. Popular hit singles incuded “Hold On” and “SOS.” Since their second album, the Jonas Brothers have appeared on hit television shows including the ever popular “Hannah Montana.” They also performed at the Miss Teen USA pagent and for the Disney Channel Games. Currently, the brothers are touring with the Queen of the Disney Channel herself, Hannah Montana, during her “Best of Both Worlds” tour! Get your Jonas Brothers tickets today before it’s too late!
